Thursday's OTB Blitz Tournament & Covid Info.
One of our members who was present for last week's chess club meeting has contracted Covid. I have not personally experienced any symptoms. Tomorrow (Thursday, August 25th) is our regular monthly blitz tournament, and I plan to proceed as planned. If you are experiencing symptoms, or feel like you are at special risk, please use sound judgement with thoughts for yourself and others.
An important reminder: Wearing a mask is mandatory for all of our tournament events, and tomorrow is no exception.
