Tournament Planning

Hey everyone, I am once again coming to you to set up a tournament or two. I was hoping to do these tournaments in the month of August, hopefully with one on the first week and one a couple of weeks after or other weeks if there isn't enough availability. The format of the tournaments will be decided on the limitations of Chess.com and the amount of people who check in on the day.

If you want to be on the Varsity Chess Team or have been on it in the past, I will be fully transparent and say that I am hoping to use the result of the tournament to help decide positions on the team (this will not be the only metric, I will also be using ELO, Chess.com stats, and, for those who have already played in the CCL, tournament results to get a more holistic review of each player). I encourage all who are interested in Esports and the game of Chess to show up.
