Tournaments

As the fall chess seasons heats up events loom larger each day.  Next Tuesday Nov. 20th after school we will Host the "Battle for the Bananas".  The event will be held in the cafeteria and is open to all students, staff and faculty of R.H.S.  Stop on down to play a game or two or three or how ever many you want!  Winners will get Bananas! Yearbook photos, input into new rankings and those that show up will have the rest of the week off from school!!  After the chess tourney basketball games will start up in the RHS Home Opener with Tarboro.  This is a practice tournament.  Serious players are invited to a USCF tournament at DH Conley on Dec. 8th.  Details to be announced.
