Turkey Shoot & Turkey Trot Open Tournaments

The weather’s getting cold and the leaves have fallen. There may even be snow on the ground where you live. But don’t go into hibernation just yet! The Idaho Chess Association is pleased to announce, not one, but two tournaments for the end of November: The Turkey Shoot and the Turkey Trot. Both will be hosted on Chess.com and will be US Chess rated. The Shoot will be in a classic format and The Trot will be a blitz so there’s something for everybody. I hope everyone can set aside some time to participate in these great events with your friends in chess.

• Turkey Trot Blitz: Wednesday, November 25, 6pm - 8:00pm MT, 7SS G/5+3
• Turkey Shoot Classic: Took place on Saturday, November 21, 10am - 2:30pm MT, 4SS G/30+5
