Update for 2016!

Hello everyone.

This is the Mid winter/summer (wherever you are) Update.

Things are going quite well at the HQ. We do need some more volunteers joining the HQ! So, if you are an admin of a team or WISH to be an admin, then become a volunteer http://www.chess.com/groups/home/junior-international-cup-hq?nid=14237334

Now if you are an admin of a team, you need to create a team logo to particapate. For example, here is one I helped create for the Maldives (at the bottom of the screen) it can be something basic, it can be something complex. Whatever you want, I am happy with. It will make this event more bright!

Now, here is what is coming for 2016. There is a LOT more going to happen, but here is a few things that I can tell you that is going to happen:

1. For the first time, we will have a U1600 Division! It will be active this time. This is the main focus for The Junior International Cup. For the weak players, even Under the Age of 8 will have a shot against players

2. In the U1600 division, even if they don't get a good game and get smashed, we will have some very strong players coming to REVIEW all games of the U1600. Volunteers so far is CP6033 (who nearly had a draw in a simul with World Champion Magnus Carlsen!) NM adypady02 (Came 4th in the recent chesskid.com challenge, is a NM, 10 FIDE points away from an Fide Master!) We aim to get more, so you can get them from different POV's. 

3. The Junior International Cup will have an AWESOME new logo (volunteers needed)

4. We will have an Indvidual Junior International Cup tournament! (U1000, 1000-1400, 1400-1800, 1800-2200, Titled players only, and Open division. 

5. We aim this to be on chessleagues.com!
