UPDATE: Forums (and Club Forums) Text Editor
Hello, Beta Community!
We’ll be rolling out the new text editor to Forums and Club Forums for Beta users early this week.This update continues our transition to the new secure text editor introduced in User Profiles several months ago.Our goal is to improve long-term maintainability, security, and consistency across the platform.
What to expect
What to expect
- Existing forum posts will remain unchanged.
- At a later stage, we may restrict exiting forum content to features supported by the new editor only.
- If needed, you can temporarily leave the Beta program - but this editor will eventually roll out to everyone. So, please, leave your comments if you face any issues.
For power usersWe know many of you rely on advanced html formatting and custom markup. To support existing workflows, we’ve added an Insert HTML button, which should allow you to operate in a way that’s similar to how you work today.
Your feedback here is especially important, and we strongly encourage you to share detailed input.We’ll be collecting feedback and addressing as much as possible before expanding this rollout further.
