V2 End Date Update (No Date Set)

UPDATE: We are still evaluating options. We do not yet know why some people are experiencing dramatically higher load times for pages, but that is our #1 concern. We will not close V2 until that is addressed.

As for the other concerns - designs, styles, missing features, etc - please keep sending your feedback. Some we will be able to address, some we will not. Please remember: NON-specific suggestions or advice is impossible for us to act on. Simply saying "I like V2 better!" does not help us out. If you give SPECIFICS, we can act on that. 

We know that SPECIFICALLY some people are having slower page loads. That we are working on. 

We also had many people SPECIFICALLY mention some features/urls etc that were missing. Some were misunderstandings and we were able to clear them up. Others have been ticketed to add. 

For those who don't like the design, that's why we created www.chess.com/classic (DON'T click that unless you want to see your theme changed to more like V2) and the "Classic Home" (in your settings). We also built out top nav for you (even though we believe left nav is much better given the space constraints of a square board). And if you don't like it dark, there are other options for themes. 

Again, I understand many of you are upset about this. I am trying to balance the needs. I hope we can get to 99% satisfaction.
