Vancouver West Open #12

The Vancouver Chess School will host another six-round, CFC and CMA-rated tournament on the weekend of February 25-26, 2017. The tournament features two sections: Adult (for all players 18+ and juniors with a >1200 CFC rating) and Junior (for junior players <1200 CFC). These events are always competitive and fun, and provide great experience for the bigger tournaments.

When: 10:00am, Feb. 25 -  5:30pm, Feb. 26

Where: VCS at Columbia College (438 Terminal Avenue) on the fourth floor

Format: 6 round Swiss at the 50m/10s time control (CFC rated minimum); you will play three games per day

Registration: Online only; cost is $70 (discounts for titled players and multiple family members)
