Volunteers Needed!

🌟 Calling all chess enthusiasts and supporters of the Central Nebraska Chess Club! 🌟

Are you passionate about chess and looking for a meaningful way to contribute to our growing chess community? We have some exciting volunteer opportunities available and would love your help!

**1. Tournament Directors Needed:**

Our chess club is expanding, and we're in need of Tournament Directors to help us organize and run a variety of events. This includes USCF Rated tournaments every three months on the third weekend of the month, scholastic events aimed at students, and casual events for players of all levels. With more directors on board, we can offer a wider variety of tournaments, including blitz, rapid, and chess960. Additionally, we're seeking individuals to coordinate our online events for our Chess.com club weekly on Sundays.

**2. Social Media Volunteer Wanted:**

Are you a social media guru with a passion for chess? We're looking for a dedicated individual to help us manage our social media presence. As our Social Media Volunteer, you'll be responsible for ensuring that all announcements posted on Facebook are cross-posted on our Discord, Chess.com, and Lichess groups.

**3. School and Community Outreach Coordinator:**

We are actively seeking someone passionate about supporting the chess clubs at Horizon Middle School, Sunrise Middle School, and Kearney High School. Additionally, if you have a knack for teaching and would like to contribute to our Chess101 Classes through Kearney Parks and Recreation, we have a spot for you!

**For these volunteer positions, we will need additional information from you, and we can discuss the details via email.**

**4. Other Ways to Contribute:**

If the above positions don't align with your interests or availability, fear not! There are plenty of other ways to get involved. Whether you'd like to donate your time or resources, or if you have ideas for how you can support our chess club, we'd love to hear from you.
