Vote chess games
From a friend I learned an interesting "variation" of vote chess. They called it Canadian(because it was his inspiration and he is from .....Canada).
Only begginer's vote("Voters"), advanced players suggest moves and try to convince them by explaining("Suggesters").
You will propose yourselfs as voter or suggester but you will be graded as suggester and at the end of the game you may be "demoted" if it proves that you were not a good one(be carefull on this, many have a wrong impression about their understanding). There is also an Arbiter that decides if the move suggested is valid or not.Any move not adequately explained is not considered valid and can't be played even if it's the best move in the position(the point is not to win , but to learn). There will be a leader board , as both the suggesters and the voters will be graded for their explanations(the suggesters) and their questions(the voters).
I believe it may do vote chess games less serious and more instructive, giving the "fun" element to our learning but that's only my opinion.Having a fair amount of experience in teaching chess I can say that begginer's questions help teacher understands better what he already knows. Many times I leave the "class" , having the impression that I learned more than those I was supposed to teach so the whole system will be beneficial for both sides("voters" and "suggesters")
What do you think? Is anyone interested?
