Weekend News 7/2010

Hallo Crew!

This weekend (and week) has been to busy for me, so now you get Weekend News on a Monday. Hope you are flexible enough to handle it! hehe

At the moment we have 32 tournaments with 1406 players (of course some are in more than one tournament, but still). We also have 3 tournaments starting soon!

I will put up some new tournaments on wednesday.

The Pyramid Tournament is a tournament just within this group. Since we are only playing other members of the group, you can ask to play the game unrated! Read about it and please join. The more players climbing - the more fun.

Soon we have a new month, and then we need a new Opening of the month. So far the only suggestion is Scandinavian. Please tell me what you think/what you want!

We still have Monday (harder) puzzle, Tuesday dictionaryand Wednesday easy puzzle - you find them all in the forum. (If someone wants to take over one of them, please tell me) Together with some non-chess subjects. And do also take a look at the Team Matches and Vote Chess. You might find it fun!

And still; please keep on telling me (in forum or by mail) what you want. Also if there is something you dislike in the group.
