Hello, and Welcome to ALL New & Recent Club members,
Firstly, I would like to thank all of you for choosing to join this Club.
It is our intention to grow the club and fill it with Likeminded players who love this game, who are active, seek to improve, and display the highest integrity. In order to do that each of you have been carefully selected.
With over 400 members in a little over 6 months, we already feel we have a rich selection of players from across a wide range of ratings as well as locations. We have already begun a number of both, Internal & External club competitions which we feel have gone incredibly well so far. Our internal Competitions (Club Members only Tournaments) is a new concept and has worked really well. I would like to thank all clubs members for supporting these tournaments in particular. There are of course more tournaments to come, I would encourage you to read through the past announcements as well as a tournaments scheduler announcement (a link of which is a the bottom of this announcement) This will give you a better idea of when tournaments will be taking place in and out the club, over the year.
Our Largest and next External Competition 'FIDE Corona Cup World Championship 23/24' will launch in mid-July for a second year, so please look out for that tournament announcement
We aren't looking to build huge numbers at the club, It’s the right players we want. We also have Coaches at the club for any players who are looking for private tuition (please see coaches announcement)
If you are unsure how things work or have questions about the club please contact our Club Coordinator 1456Hunyadi. He will do his best help regarding how the club works. (please remain polite in all interactions)
Please send your suggestions below. Please give us your suggestions of things we can improve or change to make the club better. Do we need more tournaments? Do we need less tournaments? what do club members feel about inter-Club Matches? We welcome your suggestions.
