First let me say, welcome to the club everyone!
As of this announcement we have 14 members! Hooray! Really excited to be building this with you all and hopefully we can host the inaugural events in the next couple weeks!
The New Discord Roles
First, there is a new "club member" role you can pick up to be added to the new club-specific channels. That will be where I post the polls for us all to figure out the best day/time to have our events. You can get this role by heading over to the "Channels & Roles" section and answering the new customization question.
Second, show off your "club early adopter" role that will be exclusive to you, our earliest members! To get it there are two steps:
Hop into #general and say "The new Chessreps club is the most innovative club I've joined for years!", but refuse to elaborate on this to anyone. Maybe even pretend you never wrote it? (I cannot stress to you enough how important this step is) (No message = No role) (Delete the message? I delete your role)DM me your username (discord or chess.com)
Get on these steps before I decide (arbitrarily) to stop handing the role out, you don't have forever! No more early adopter roles now, but thanks to everyone who participated! And be active in the discord for the next time we do exclusive promotional rewards!
