Hi all! Have a nice Weekend and welcome to Chess Corner Live.

We are 35 six days now we created this club and although i expected many more to join us from Chess Corner club i understand that joining a new club for live chess events its not everyone's taste. 

As we said in our clubs description the point of our gathering is to share live chess through internal tournaments and future live team matches in a more close circle. That requires all of us to show will and desire to participate and most of all to understand that is not easy to organize a live event that requires transparency in live time from members and people that live in different continents. 

Needless to say that although 35 we are from Asia, Europe, Africa, America already.

Until we become much more and have a standard number of regular participants i am intending to have us only a monthly Blitz tournament with standard day time but not exactly an hour. As you understand for some members the starting hour it will be night, for others morning and others noon. We will try each month to change hour so every member can have the opportunity to join us in a more comfortable for his/her moment and be fair with everyone. 

Now for the day of arranging our monthly Blitz tournament, my suggestion is to do it at weekends from late Friday night to Sunday evening. The reason for that is because on weekends everyone has usually more time than the other days. If someone cant follows us on the weekends please just send me a message or leave a comment below. It's important for me to know everyone's availability. 

Except for the live monthly Blitz tournament, i am intending to organize at some point for us a speed championship but i will need someone's help to improvise the idea and make it nice for all. 

Yes, a speed Championship with pairings, knock out rounds e.t.c
