Wind rushed pash my face, sun shine beaming n my face. I looked up to the sky and was grateful for the friends and family I made on this street, not knowing it was the last I’d see them. It was your typical morning, waking up hanging out with everyone when one day, that fateful day the sky crumbled, we looked up only to nothing, but the sky was crumbling. Next thing I knew the ground beneath me shattered, blood everywhere, children crying. I looked around, all I saw was carnage. A hooded figure walking towards me with human corpses dragging behind them as he was carrying them. All I felt in my body was to fled but my body couldn’t move, my body broke out into a sweat. His footsteps echoing in my ears. Then he passed me I thought he didn’t see me but then he stopped. He looked over to me and said to me in a low voice, “Do you wish to travel with me to the ends of the earth, I can grant you anything only for your soul and loyalty.” I asked, “Are you the one that caused all of this?” He gave no answer. He shook his head and flung me across the sky, my head shattered into the sky. Once I woke up I was in a laboratory, I was confused soaking in blood. I looked around only to see a scientist with blood all over him. I rushed over to him and he pointed to something, he stopped breathing. I looked at what he pointed at, grabbed it with me and ran for the outside. I ran for the exit in the laboratory, there were screams everywhere I went. I felt tears trickling down my cheeks, I couldn’t protect everyone because I was weak. I knew it was foolish to run back, my whole body told me to return but I couldn’t. I was too much of a coward. I managed to escape out of the neighborhood, I looked at the weird object I carried. It was a disk, I clicked a button and a holograph showed up saying, “We have discovered dimension jumping, subject 405 has returned from his mission from 5 years ago. Dimension jumping confirmed.” Then I clicked again. The scientist in the hologram said, “We have continued to use Sesame Street as an experiment to distribute broadcast to different dimensions, theres a different meaning to the experiment labeled as a “social experiment” by the higher authorities at this company that no one besides them knows what it mean. Now back to track here this new technology will be dangerous since the user would be able to dimension jump to different dimensions so we’re keeping it hidden, I made this message as a warning.” There were screams in the hologram and it flickered out. I rushed back to laboratory and opened as many doors as I could, it was no use. When suddenly I pressed a button on accident and a door opened up. I rushed into the room no took the strange gadget. Then rushed out as fast as I could. The screams have died down but all I heard was the footsteps of that man. I used the dimension jump machine. I woke up in a unfamiliar area knowing it was my duty to protect this machine at all cost even if it costs me my life.
