The Colorado Springs Chess Club held the March Quick Qualifier at the club on the 5th Tuesday.  Rhett Langseth earned a spot in the 3rd City Quick Championship section in November by surviving his nemesis, Clint Eads.  There are 2 more qualifying events later this year.

Also, the Colorado Springs Chess Club held the April Speed Qualifier at a new location on Monday night since we are running out of 5th Tuesdays.  Paul Anderson earned a spot in the 31st City Speed Championship section in December by surviving his nemesis, Jose Llacza.  There are 2 more qualifying events later this year.

The 3rd City Quick Champ is the 2nd event and the 31st City Speed Champ is the 3rd event in our Championship Season at the club!


60th City Champ:  October
3rd City Quick Champ:  November 24th (Qualifiers: 3/31, 6/30, 9/26)
31st City Speed Champ:  December 29th 


Billy Nixon took a week off in Arizona from dominating the April Swiss 75.  Let's hope I can get the correct image in the email this time,
