WHSC 1st Open Chess Tournament

Hi everyone,

The date of the tournament is Wednesday, April 7th, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM.

The tournament format is as follows. The time control will be 10 0, meaning that each side will get 10 minutes with no delay or increment. There will be a total of 4 rounds, and tiebreakers for top spots will be decided with a 5 0 blitz game.

The prizes are as follows: 1st Place: 20 dollar gift card of their choosing. 2nd Place: 10 dollar gift card of their choosing. 3rd Place: 5 dollar gift card of their choosing. Please note that because prizes are involved, fair play will be strictly enforced, so please do not cheat. Cheating includes the use of Chess engines, chess computer programs other than chess.com, as well as any form of analysis board.
