BB vs. Team Tennessee

On November 8, 2013, the Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School in Bradley, Illinois challenged Team Tennessee to a match. It was an 8 board match and featured some of our better players.

On board 1, Mack Garner (1908) had a hard time with his opponent aearsley (2187) a player related 280 points higher. Board 2 yielded a better result, 2 wins for Team Tennessee; good job jerrysued (1864). Mathewhuman got 2 more wins on board 3; one a checkmate when the opponent ignored a mate in 1 threat. Boards 4 & 5 proved that our opponents to be quite formidable. Noobstarr got 2 wins on board 6 with 2 checkmates. Boards 7 & 8 were all timeouts after just a few moves.

Overall, a win for Team Tennessee. Thanks to all Team Tennessee members that participated. Once again we are headed in the right direction.
