YDTD IS THE 2024 LET’S CASTLE PLAYER OF THE YEAR

@Ydtd earned 4 first place votes against @J_Santiago ‘s 3 first place votes to secure his 4th consecutive  Let’s Castle Chess Player of the year award!  It was a very close vote. This might have been due to  @Ydtd’s brash demeanor towards peers and the media. He doesn’t water down his opinions for anyone and he will tell you that in the third person of course!  CASTLERS who made donations to the club were given a vote.  Knowing that his peers may vote against him because of his past behavior,  @Ydtd uncharacteristically started  treating his peers nicely during the new year.  Even going as far as  to ask @Gstrong100 to be friends for the 2025 season. 😂😂😂😂😂.  Maybe the tactic worked, maybe it didn’t.   What is incontrovertible though are the numbers. @Ydtd won 3 daily titles, won player of the week 10 times and also won 3 online rapid titles for the 2024 season. A well deserved Let’s Castle Chess player of the year award for the one they call “THE BOGEYMAN!
