Yesterday's Plastic Pollution to Tomorrow's Gas
Scientists have found a way to use microwaves catalyst to strip the polymers in plastic from hydrogen. The researchers mixed microwave-susceptor catalyst of iron and aluminum oxide, which created a large amount of hydrogen from plastic. This results in a quick way to turn plastic into hydrogen, which costs low and doesn't need carbon dioxide. https://www.enn.com/articles/65712-turning-plastic-waste-into-hydrogen-and-high-value-carbons
