Here is a game from the 2008 Moscow Open, GM Zviagintsev - FM Slugin with full annotations and commentary:

This game clearly illustrates the importance of development. As we saw in the game white sacrificed a pawn early and black took the bait. This allowed white to secure a lead in development while black found it hard to develop and had the whole queenside undeveloped in the corner. Then after white got the lead in development he used it to cash in on a nice attack on the black king which lacked defense due to the lack of development of the queenside. So let us not forget the importance of developing your pieces!
