Aljechin and the "bad bishop"- concept

In my last article, we saw how young Aljechin let his opponent Euwe suffer with his "bad bishop".Today we see, how older Aljechin used the same "bad bishop"-concept again. But this time he took opponent`s knight also in "prison".

As it happened twice we can presume, that this doesn`t happen by chance. He looked for that! And when opportunity came, he acted as "master of prison". White bishop and also white knight (temporary) were enclosed by their own pawns and could not play an active role. After that Aljechin had free hand for a king side attack! White`s desire to free at least his knight helped black to set the decisive blow
