Chess Played Quick is Chess.com's series of events where top chess streamers complete bounties for prizes.

The 2023 Chess Played Quick Bullet Edition happens on April 27 at 9 a.m. PT/18:00 CEST. Top streamers do a bullet speedrun to reach the highest rating possible and complete multiple bounties for two hours. The event features 2000 Twitch/Kick subs as the prize fund.

Format

Streamers do a bullet speedrun with a 1+0 time control. Participants earn points by finishing in the top 10 of the event's rating leaderboard, reaching rating thresholds, or according to their performance (based on their Insights page). Streamers then get awarded according to the total points they gathered.

  • All games use the 1+0 time control.
  • Players can't adjust seeking parameters.
  • Streamers play in a new account, starting with an 800 bullet rating.
  • Players can earn points by finishing among the top 10 highest-rated participants.
  • Streamers gain 1 point for every 100 rating points they attain above the starting 800 rating mark.
  • Players can also win points by completing bounties based on their performance, indicated by their Insights page.
  • Insights-based bounties feature single bounties that only one player can claim, as well as bounties that more than one player can claim.
  • The Insights-based bounties have three difficulty levels.
