Here is a game that shows the dangers of ignoring the threats against your castled king. After some inaccurate opening moves by Smirin, instead of exchanging off pieces, as Sutovsky is preparing an attack, he plays to solve his problems by force. The result: Sutovsky sacrifices both of his bishops and rips open his opponent's kingside. Smirin quickly cracks under the pressure, and Sutovsky is able to initiate a neat final combination.
