In 1960, Fischer suffered a famous loss against Boris Spasskys King's gambit. Bobby would later write an article entitled "A Bust to the King's Gambit". In 1963, during the US Championship, Fischer played a less popular variation of the King's Gambit as White!! Bobby's opponent was GM Larry Evans.
