how do u get a perfect score
I like your opening idea a lot. When I was first learning openings, I told him I dreamed up an opening with c4, a3, e3 and Nc3 so that I could slowly prepare b4 or d4, and he laughed. He said that is part of the English. Of course, I have not studied the English a lot, but you did well with the idea. You ought to try the mirror cousin of the English sometime, the Bird!
Nice game, short and sweet. Tactics, tactics, tactics, as they all say...

Sweet... someome got the reference!
Dozy> Your "perfect score" reminds me of the perfect score I achieved in my first tournament -- six unblemished zeroes!
lol. It's only because I played down. Next time I'll be in the U1900 and there's no way I'm getting a perfect score against that field.
baalcheyenne, davidetal, farbror, RaZhaN-k - thanks!
benws> why can't black just play 19...Kg7 or 19...Kh8?
19...Kg7 (or 19...Kh8) 20.Nxe8+! Rxe8 21.Qb3!
benws> what's wrong with the immediate 18 Nf6+?
That's not bad... it wins the exchange. But 18.Qc3 wins the game on the spot. :)
good job. i rarely get perfect scores. but why can't black just play 19...Kg7 or 19...Kh8? and what's wrong with the immediate 18 Nf6+?
congrats...and nice job

Very neat! And congrats on winning.
Your "perfect score" reminds me of the perfect score I achieved in my first tournament -- six unblemished zeroes! Yours was better...
