Pete's Pathetic Chess: The Worst Move Imaginable
Back after truly underwhelming reader demand, Pete's Pathetic Chess is the "instructional" column where I subject my awful moves and chess ideas to analysis by an actual grandmaster and the best chess-playing computer in the world.
It looks like everyone's taking notice of my poor play.
Joining these shenanigans with his own annotations will be GM Alex Yermolinsky, the respected Chess.com/TV host and old-school grandmaster.
Also weighing in with made-up comments is a fictional personification of the real Stockfish 8.
Stockfish 8 is currently the highest-rated chess engine in history, with a 3398 rating on the latest CCRL pure list. In what is surely overkill for my chess needs, it will give us the insights of a 4000-strength chess player.
Due to member request, all annotations from GM Yermo, Pete, and Stockfish 8 will appear in the same game viewer for ease of review.
What did you think of my pathetic chess play this time? Let us know in the comment section.
