Here is a game from the 2008 US Chess League final tie-break, NM Esserman - FM Schneider with full annotations and commentary:
This game was played with a 5 5 time control in the US Chess League championship match, in a series of tie-break games. As we can see this was a bit of a messy game with the mistakes piling up towards the end. The lesson to be learned here is that chess takes time and thought! You should always take time (in slower) games to think about your moves, plan ahead, and see what the opponent is doing. If you rush through your moves you may find yourself making critical mistakes which could cause you to lose games which you might actually be able to win.
