Scholatic Opening on Master Level

Here is a game from the 2008 Pearl Spring Invitational, GM Ivanchuk - GM Bu with full annotations and commentary:

In this game we see two high level masters playing an opening which is considered to be a "scholastic" level opening which is popular at the scholastic level. This game is a clear example that even though an opening may be highly popular at the lower levels and is considered a "scholastic" opening does not mean it cannot be played successfully at the highest levels. White clearly gained an advantage and quickly converted it into a nice win under 40 moves.
