The Great Pillsbury

Harry Nelson Pillsbury (1872-1906) was one of the greatest American chess players who ever lived. His most famous accomplishment was winning Hastings 1895 as an outside bet. Though he tragically died early from syphilis, he could still create masterpieces such as this game.
