The Hunted Hunter
Miroslav Filip (October 1928-) from Prague, Czech Republic, was Czechoslovak Champion in 1950, 1952 and 1954. He earned the International Master title in 1953 and became Grandmaster in 1955. He played the following game in 1961 against Klaus Viktor
Darga (February 1934-) from Berlin, Germany. Darga was recognized as National Master in 1957 and as Grandmaster in 1964. This game is a ludicrous one, many of us would consider it funny. Filip, playing White, punishes the enemy King and drives him clear across the board to his own territory, then he realized that he fell victim of his own Kinghunt and could not stop Mate, he resigned.
