The Imbalance of Opposite Side Castling
Here is a game from the 2008 Sydney International Open, GM Jones - IM Bitansky with full annotations and commentary:
This was a very interesting game where we saw both players castling their kings to opposite sides of the board. Next we saw the phase of the game where one side underwent an attack on the other's king which did not end up too well. Then we saw both sides attacking the other's pawns on the opposite side of the board. And in the end we saw a pawn race on opposite sides of the board where white was too quick for black. This game is a true example of how interesting and complex an opposite side castling game can be.
