The Painful Moves

In some games that I have observed, I have seen "torture", or the continuous stupid moves that make a game that is obvious as to who the win will go to. Some will argue that the losing player can just resign, but many players (such as myself) believe in finishing a game, no matter what. To some, this seems stupid, but this is an act of sportsmanship. Torturing is unkind and dumb, because all it does is anger your opponent. Some people have trouble getting a final checkmate, and that is okay, but for a small amount of players, torturing has to stop. If you know you will win, just win. Don't just move your pieces in an endless circle just to provide yourself with a short while of humor. It isn't funny when it happens to you.
