Here is a game from the 2008 Linares tournament, GM Leko - GM Ivanchuk with full annotations and commentary:

In this game we saw that black played the Caro-Kann to combat 1. e4 where black establishes a pawn on d5 early in the game to fight for part of the center and the slowly work to equalize. White was eager to push the pawns forward and eventually many of the white pawns became overextended and weak. Then black was able to simplify with some piece exchanges and enter into the white position with devastating effects. The Caro-Kann is a very underestimated opening but with the right follow up it can be a solid choice to play against 1. e4
