I first started playing around 7 or 8 years old, my father  would set up the chess board with ½ pieces removed on his side and beat me. I still remember the 1^st opening he taught me was Scotch four Knights, I have played on and over the years and always been a student of the game. After discovering this site a year ago, I found other people that enjoyed playing chess, which is something very hard to do with people in my current social networks.
