"Pawn Sacrifice" is a film in current release, about the life of Bobby Fischer and his 1972 match with Boris Spassky. In 1960, Fischer first met Spassky over-the-board at the Mar del Plata tournament in Argentina. In that game, Spassky as White played the King's Gambit - and won the game! Fischer restudied the opening & later wrote a famous article, "A bust to the King's Gambit," in which he advocated 3...d6 as best for Black. Come play like Spassky or Fischer!! ... (Opponents, please take only one of these open seeks!)
