On the start date it would have been the 105th birthday of Hugh Paddick, though he passed in 2000 aged 85. Whilst he did have many screen credits such as The Killing of Sister George and Up Pompeii, and appeared in the series Blackadder the Third, he is particularly remembered for his contribution to the radio show Round the Horne. Born and raised in Hoddesdon, Herts, he spent many years whilst building his career living in West London, and he spent his later years in Milton Keynes, Bucks.
