The start date is the 40th anniversary of the ever popular Raiders of the Lost Ark, which launched the series of films featuring the adventures of Indiana Jones as created by the legendary Steven Spielberg and George Lucas with another starring role for Harrison Ford. With adventures in South America, Nepal and Egypt the main plot is to recover the lost Ark of the Covenant in competition with a Nazi expedition at the time of World War 2. The film won four Oscars in 1982 for Best Art/Set Decoration, Best Sound, Best Editing and Best Visual Effects, won a Grammy for the Best Score (by John Williams) and a BAFTA for Best Production design & Art Direction.
