Scientists working out of a laboratory just outside the Alaskan city of Fairbanks believe they have discovered something deep beneath the permafrost that could result in environmental and biological disasters. Researchers working in a deep underground tunnel at the Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) made a startling discovery that could potentially pose a threat to humanity.
