Today is the 55th birthday of director/writer/producer Bryan Singer. Born in New York City, he was raised in and attended West Windsor-Plainsboro High School at Princeton Junction, New Jersey and graduated from the USC cinema school in 1989. He is responsible for the resurrection of Superman with Superman Returns in 2006, but first came to fame with The Usual Suspects 1995. He is also one of the few directors to create a trilogy in live action of a comic book series with the three X-Men films from 2003:- First Class, Days of Future Past and Apocalypse.
