Born in Concord, California he had an unsettled childhood after parents divorced, lived with Dad in Reno, Nevada and did not act much in school. Started his career in Cleveland, Ohio, then returned to Sacramento as a professional actor, later moving with first wife to New York City, then as his films took off to California. Attended Skyline High School in Oakland, CA and Chabot College in Hayward, CA then California State University CSU in Sacramento. He is a diehard fan of Cleveland Indians baseball team, and also a fan of English Premier League’s Aston Villa soccer team. He is referred to often as the modern James Stewart, who has cornered the market as the ordinary man in extraordinary circumstances. He once worked as a hotel bellman & carried bags for Cher & Sidney Poitier, and sold popcorn & peanuts at the Oakland Coliseum, so is also a diehard fan of Oakland Raiders, though deplores their move to Las Vegas. Filled in one night for John Cleese at a Monty Python concert and is a huge fan, playing one of the Mounties in the Lumberjack Song in Concert for George 2003. He lives in Pacific Palisades, Malibu, California & in Ketchum, Idaho. We believe he is more than worthy of a match in his honour and hope you accept – if the number or ratings do not suit, then please make contact.
