Yesterday the actor Lennie James had his 55th birthday. Having built 77 screen credits, he has become well-known to TV audiences; having been BAFTA-nominated for Storm Damage in 2000, he became globally famous for The Walking Dead as Morgan Jones in 2010-18, for which he won an OFTA Award, and has appeared in Line of Duty 2012 and Low Winter Sun 2013, winning an RTS Award for Save Me in 2018, when he returned as Jones in Fear The Walking Dead 2018-20. Born in Nottingham, he was raised and educated in Tooting, South London before attending the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He now lives with his family in Los Angeles.
