Today is the 55th birthday of Shania Twain. Born in Windsor, but at an early age moving to Timmins, Ontario she has become a music legend, with seven Granny awards and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Early in her life she worked at McDonalds to make ends meet, but she loved that time there. Her career began when being signed to Mercury in Nashville, from which she rose to CMA Entertainer of the Year in 1999, and she has now had several residencies in Las Vegas.
