Welcome to the Frederick Chess Club! We are a United States Chess Federation sanctioned club looking to draw together those who have an interest in the royal game.

We host both informal (casual) games and formal USCF Rated tournaments, and are looking to grow and share our chess experience. Meet us for casual chess on the following days and times:

• Saturdays 10:30-12:30PM @ Boonsboro Free Library.
• Mondays 6-8PM @ Valley Mall food court.
• Wednesdays 5-9PM @ Frederick Social.

USCF Rated 4 round Swiss style tournaments with G45/+5 or G30/+5 time controls are hosted monthly at Hood College (Whitaker Campus Center, 1st door on the left), 401 Rosemont Ave, Frederick, MD 21701. Please check our Facebook and Meetup pages for details.
