Hello and welcome to the chess.com group for Leeds, Yorkshire.
We represent Leeds in the Yorkshire Cup and World Cities League. If you are resident in Leeds or have any link to Leeds, past or present, you are welcome to join.
The 2022-23 season is coming to an end and we have secured a 3rd place finish in our World Cities League division with 6/9, having played against a combination of far-flung cities such as Jakarta, Brussels, Milan and Uttar Pradesh, as well as local matches against Sheffield, York and Bradford in the Yorkshire Cup.
Can we improve on that next season? The 2023-24 season kicks off at the start of November with the sign-up for the first match starting in mid-October. Join us and enjoy playing some great chess for your city!
