10-Minute Chess Now Rapid Rated on chess.com - USCF implications ?!?

I just saw a message from chess.com that 10-Minute Chess games will now be rated / considered as Rapid Rated (instead of blitz).

Does anybody know how this affects the 10|0 tournaments in this club that are USCF rated? Will the 10|0 tournament now count towards the USCF quick (rapid) rating or does it still count towards blitz?

According to https://new.uschess.org/news/online-rated-us-chess-events - it would appear that 10|0 is still online blitz for USCF but that's from a few months ago. I'm wondering if USCF will make that adjustment as well ... otherwise it will be very confusing.

The only implications will be how it pairs on site. The 10|0 events are still rated under Online Blitz for US Chess purposes.

Currently there is a bug where 10|0 still shows as blitz in Live and pairs based on that rating but I'm sure that will be fixed soon.

The auto-scheduled 10|0 on Mondays will be listed as Rapid and I can't get that changed, but the U1450 section will still be named with Blitz probably (since it is actually blitz for US Chess).

Thanks Martin.

10\0 is blitz. rapid transit is 15 minutes to 25 is norm. Chess.com want to change that?

That bug was a bit shocking to me after the first round today (having blundered badly and lost to a weaker player). At first, it said my rating went down more than 200. But that because my rapid is already about that much lower than my blitz.
