I am doing so well at my substitute job and handling the election that I'm decreasing my meds. I also have sold 5 of my books so far, one to an unknown.

Kamala promised hard work, but I think with Trump we will need to work hard as well with the tarriffs. I really don't like deregulation because I feel it can lead to corruption. All in all, I am very happy with Trump I just thought Harris would be better. They both have serious problems but I don't think anything bad will happen in the world overall.

Can we please not lie politically next election? Oh and I'm running in the Federalist party which I'm reviving.

The campfire analogy - everyone has wood to add to the fire. You don't have to add all your wood right away but you have to take turns.

Ramaswamy terrifies me like he's actually a terrorist! Please put him in the most unimportant position imaginable!

It was a coin toss, and yet none of us affected it. RFK on Saturday Night Live may have done it; Nikki Haley not endorsing Kamala might have done it.

But it was just a straight up coin toss! There's no mandate but Trump can lie as always to hold his cards for later.

I could agree with everything you said right up until the part about there was no mandate. I think Americans are ready for some kind of change. 7/7 performance in swing states, with a comfortable margin in each, delivers a mandate in my opinion. Thank you for sharing your opinion.

I don't think Trump is really going to lead the country in a very much different direction than Harris would have though. Maybe I need to see a few more administrations before I really have a broad enough perspective, but it seems like the economy and the people are going to do what they are going to do largely without reference to who is in that particular office.

I too thought in the end they were pretty similar, but I preferred Harris. But I like Trump.

I'm not a big fan of the 'bro culture' that helped Trump get elected. Some of those 'bros' don't have a great sense of civic awareness or duty. More about 'winning', which often devolves into a simple impulse to 'own the libs'. In that, they're just becoming consumers and propagators of a certain kind of information virus, a commodity of technocapital.
