Well so far with round one out of the way and the white pieces taking both games. This should get interesting as Hermes and I go all out for the win to stay in the tournament.
Really though I just want to mention my game with Thell is up on the analysis thread with my comments on how I felt and my thought process, and a plee for anyone to come up with a better plan for black then blunder blunder. lol Thanks everyone look forward to an exciting game two in this first round from both partys!
Here is the latest news:
The second game of Maxamilion vs Hermes3 is scheduled for Wednesday (May 19th) 12 PM GMT . After being defeated by Maxamilion in the first game, Hermes needs to win this game for staying in the tournament.
Strategyking420 vs Thell_Schmuck's second game will be announced separately once scheduled. If we can't see white pieces winning in this week's games, we will be watching Maxamilion vs Thell_Schmuck match for the finals.

Yeah sorry game one was played suddenly we talked for the first time about 2 hours before the match and agreed to play that night so it was quiet sudden. Now I am slacking on game two had an all of a sudden busy week between the US championship work and my social life. Im looking to get ahold of Thell and try and set it for friday around 8-9 Pacific Standard Time. One of us will announce the agreement as soon as its been made.
Maxamilion kindly showed me the way out of the tournament ,and going to finals

Ok, the second (and final) round is scheduled, first game will be played Saturday 29/5/10 at 8 am GMT and the second game the same day Saturday 29/5/10 at 9 pm GMT
I believe I will be able to watch at least one of the games. Hoping to see more people in the game chat room. Good game to both finalists .
Dear Friends,
Our first live tournament is starting. This is experimental, more like a beta, and it did not have an open call, but upcoming tournaments will be open to all.
Current tournament format is :
4 players knock out games. Main rounds are G/90 . If there is a tie 15/10 rapid games follows. If tie is not broken, then 5/5 blitz games.
We are planing to complete the tournament in two weeks, but if anything comes up and some players can't complete their games in the given time period, we will evaluate the situation and possibly give more time.

Once players talk with their opponent and arrange their game schedule we will also announce it here. If you would like to watch any of the games, you are welcome to do so.
