Hello Group E. We are the new group that Dave is referring to (Coat of Arms). Thank you for considering our late entrance into the tournament. I had heard about the TM Championships several months ago and just checked on it this week and saw that the first round was just starting. -Ryan
Free Iran has accepted the match challenge from us, so our round one match is in the process of signing up players.

Chess Destination hasn't challenged us yet, and they haven't responded at all to our challenge from last weekend? Have they begun their other two group E matches?

Hmm, well we still have a challenge pending to Chess Destination, and it's been there for well over a week, and we haven't received a challenge from Chess Destination either.

Hey, just to report. Coat of arms has clinched our two matches against Team Iran and Chess Destination, so I think that means we make it through to round 2. Our match against Ancient of Days it still undecided and we're up 1 game in that match.

Group E pairings for 2010. Dates shown are lock by dates. Team listed first sends challenge to team listed 2nd. If I overlook a place where only one team is listed -- that represents a "bye". Each team has 2 matches in groups with 3, and 3 matches in groups with 4. Later matches can start earlier with agreement of both teams, it is only staggered in case admins don't want to saddle their members with lots of simultaneous matches.
Match settings: 3 days per move, 2 simultaneous games, 5+ players.
