2010 Round 2 - end date

Each round is scheduled to last roughly 90 days, unless there are definitive results in all matches before then.  We measure from the last set of games scheduled to start per round, so there is less bias toward ending matches early.  (if the 1st set of games were used, then the 3rd set would have 10-15 less days scheduled).

On each round's ending date, the current score of all matches is captured.  Those scores are used to determine match winners and tiebreaks, even if the match does not yet have a clinched victory by one of the teams.  This is unfortunate but it is the only way to guarantee the championship will end on time.  Teams which are eliminated on this basis but still have a chance to win their match have the consolation that the final match score is what counts on the team match leader board.  Wink

Round 2 started on November 14th.  That would yield an end date of February 14th if we just bumped the month by 3.  I will be tied up on that day, so this time we'll go with the actual 90 days instead of padding it with extra days for months with 31.

The ending date for round 2 is February 12, 2011.  The GMT time of that cutoff depends largely on when I can get online and capture all the results, so I won't bother to try to predict it.
